Would He Give . . .

Kent, along with his brother, Kirk, and dad, recently called bids for the Fair Oaks Fire Department's fundraising auction. We really enjoy going to benefit auctions and it was Mary Claire's first auction! She enjoyed being oooed and awwwed over and the other kids loved their goody bags.
I was so thankful that Nana kept up with Henry. He isn't big enough to "help" and I didn't have enough lap for him and Mary Claire. He's actually getting to the point where he's more jealous if Nana hold Mary Claire than if I do. LOL
I don't know what Unc would have done without Ben's help. ;-) Ben went on and on about how he helped Unc take bids. I'm so thankful for the relationship all our children have with Unc. He's really involved with what is going on with each of them.

Daddy, Papaw and Unc took turns calling and taking bids. Due to the generosity of the community it was a bit of a long night but we had a blast!

Visiting the Stains

I'm behind again. I would blame it on the baby, but it's actually the big kids' fault. We've definitely passed the easy preschool stage. School requires more effort and time. The laundry is getting bigger and takes more loads, etc. :-)
We did find time to make the 2 hour drive to visit Raegen and Lynden. They were willing to rearrange their day to accommodate us. We all had a great time.
Raegen shared his toys even though it meant splitting them 5 ways.
Lynden was smart enough to avoid the danger in the playroom. He has since started walking and I think he could hold his own now. ;-)
Ben really likes Raegen's dump truck. It's made to be taken apart!
Mary Claire was stylin' in her giraffe outfit from Aunt Kristen.
I think Mary Claire and Griffin look soooooo much alike. They have the same chin and mouth. I wonder if she'll be as much of a cut-up with funny voices?
Could it be? A picture with most everyone looking?

We had a great time! Thanks for having us over!

Mary Claire you are THREE months old!

Mary Claire you are 3 months old!

You weigh 10 lbs 12 oz.

You attended your first homeschool convention last week. Now you know how a baby should act during school time. ;-) I dressed you in your monkey dress with brown hat and you attracted a lot of attention.

You still wear preemie prefold diapers and X-Small diaper covers.

Your clothes are 0-3 month, very few of your newborn outfits still fit.

You are "talking" to us so much. The little noises are coming more and more frequently. It amazes me how much more you "talk" than your brothers did (Madisyn was a talker though). The boys tended to do more grunting.

You have taken a few naps in your Moses Basket but think Mommy and Daddy's bed is a much better place to sleep.

You are extremely loved by your brothers and sister. Everyone wants to get in the monthly picture with Mary Claire. :-)
