Liberty Kate . . .

you are ONE month old!

You weigh 11 lbs 3 oz.

You are 22.5 inches long.

Your head is 39 cm.

You wear 0-3 months clothes.

We are using cloth diapers at home. You wear a preemie diaper and an extra small cover. You wear a size 1 Huggies when out.

You are a night owl and generally don't like to go to sleep until at least midnight. Once asleep, you normally stay that way for 4-5 hours.

You nurse every 2-3 hours during the day.

You hate your bed but think Mommy and Daddy's bed is wonderful.

You missed your 3 week stats because Mommy had a rough kidney infection and spent a week in bed. You kept me company which is why you think our bed is best.

You helped Henry celebrate a birthday.

You are growing like crazy.

Everyone loves to love on you, you are such a sweetheart.

you are two weeks old!

You weigh 9 lbs 9 oz.

You nurse every two hours during the day and every 3-5 at night.

You spent a few minutes in the swing and seemed to like it.

You had a busy week!

You attended your first parade.

You went to your first Sunday church service.

You spent a day at Daddy's office.

You had your first real bath and like the rest of the Witcher babies, your hair got lighter.

You gave Mommy another reason to be thankful for a precious gift on Mother's Day.

You helped Mommy and Daddy celebrate 14 years of marriage. As Madisyn said, "14 years and 7 kids."

Homefest fun

Today we loaded up and headed to Bald Knob for the annual Homefest celebration.

Even though it literally "Rained on our Parade", Liberty enjoyed her first parade experience complete with fire trucks, police cars, Smokey the Bear, a marching band, tractors and horses.

Four pretty ladies modeled their strawberry outfits donned especially for the occasion.

Granddaddy found a couple of little girls who were up for some fun!

In honor of Mother's Day we took Mom out to lunch at the Chinese restaurant.

The boys were a little confused as to what language you might speak in China and kept asking Kent to tell them how to say things like friend, hello and goodbye in Spanish. LOL

Today is also National Train Day so we took the train loving boys to visit the depot. The Lionel club had a special display set up.

10 cousins all in a row. How in the world does the photographer for the Duggar Family get them all looking at once?!?

We also got the first picture of all seven of our blessings.

Liberty Kate . . .

you are ONE WEEK old!

What a joy you are!

You have been travelling this week.
We visited the chiropractor, the midwife, church and the pediatrician!

Your big brother (Henry) insists on calling you Kate, and just Kate.

You are wearing all different sizes of clothing. Newborn clothes seem to fit best.

You wear size 0 shoes and a newborn diaper.

You weigh 9 lbs 1.5 oz (according to Mommy's scale - 9lbs 8 oz according the the midwife's scales)
and have already grown to 21.5 inches.

Your head is 38.5 cm.

You are a sweet little girl who prefers to touch Mommy while sleeping unless you are snuggled in the car seat.

You nurse about every two hours during the day and every 3 at night.

Mommy and Madisyn are having a blast dressing you a Mary Claire in matching outfits.

We all are incredibly thankful to have you on the "outside". ;-)
