Papaw had an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix dog that roamed between Daddy's lot and Papaw's house. Bear found a "girlfriend" a few months ago and puppies have appeared at the lot.
All total the momma dog had nine puppies. She hasn't been real keen on the kids visiting them but Daddy raised their trailer bed home and we were able to pay them a visit.
She was in the process of moving the puppies to another location so we only got to check out 3 of the puppies. The blue Merle is a female and she is about 1/4 the size of her brothers and sisters.
There are two Merle puppies and the rest are varying shades of brown and black. Everyone has picked out a favorite but there is no way we can keep them all {anyone want a puppy?}.
Mary Claire is terrified of dogs {Henry was as well, I'm not really sure why}. This is about the 3rd time we've visited the puppies and she was actually willing to touch one so maybe she's making progress.
