Snow Days - Part 2 Fun with Daddy

After getting 8 inches of snow, our road (though a state highway) wasn't drivable so we got to have a snow day with Daddy stuck at home. I have to say I was relieved. It's extremely difficult to get 5 children bundled up and headed out to play. "Ben Beck" would get all bundled just to proudly proclaim that he needed to potty. It's kind of cute now but it wasn't then!

Ben lasted a little longer the 2nd day but because of the depth he had a lot of trouble walking in the snow. His rubber boots aren't insulated so his feet got cold. For some reason, he felt that cold feet meant that Mommy should carry him around.

With some muscle from Daddy, we were able to get some snowmen constructed. The snowmen made on day 2 didn't even have grass or rocks sticking out of them!

Griffin felt a shovel was necessary for proper snowman building.

The plans for a complete snow family were trumped by the cold so we settled for a Mommy and a Daddy.
