The Cooperative Extension office recently held a craft workshop for the 4-H kids. The point of the workshop was for the kids to make things to enter in the fair. We aren't going to make it to the fair this year, but we still had a great time.
This was the first time I EVER dropped one of my children off with someone who was not family or a church member (and even that has been limited). I know that kids that attend daycare and school do this on a daily basis but we prefer to have our children a little more insulated than most. However, they were great. Madisyn and Ty and the workshop instructors. I know now that they can handle things like this and we hope to be able to participate in more activities in the future.
